The first quarter of 2022 saw diverse trends in the performance of the top 5 social apps on the Android platform in Ukraine. Data from Sensor Tower indicates significant fluctuations across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these apps.

TikTok exhibited a dynamic quarter with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $136K in mid-January before dipping to around $35K at the end of February. Weekly downloads started strong at over 100K at the beginning of January but saw a gradual decline to around 77K by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from about 3.9M to 4.4M throughout the quarter.

Spin the Bottle: chatroom app had a modest performance with weekly revenue fluctuating between $6K and $12K. Downloads were consistent, averaging around 1K per week, while active users hovered around the 7K to 8K mark.

VK: music, video, messenger saw a notable increase in weekly revenue towards the end of February, reaching about $6.8K. Weekly downloads also surged, peaking at approximately 47K in late February. The app maintained a strong user base with active users ranging from 3.3M to 3.6M.

Kismia - Meet Singles Nearby had a relatively stable revenue stream, averaging around $1.5K to $2.4K per week. Downloads varied, with a high of 4.7K in late December and a low of 1.8K in late February. Active users showed a slight decline from 6K to around 3.8K throughout the quarter.

OK: Social Network experienced a significant increase in weekly revenue in March, peaking at approximately $2.4K. Downloads saw a substantial rise in late February, reaching over 22K. Active users displayed a steady increase from about 870K to over 1M by early March.
